Ionuț-Alexandru Ciocîrlie - Ionuț's journey began as a consultant for the renowned Copernicus program's Coastal Zone LCLU, a groundbreaking land use mapping project in Europe. Over the course of his career, he has amassed an impressive experience in processing satellite and aerial images, GIS, and strategic planning. Notably, Ionuț has contributed his expertise to esteemed organizations such as the Romanian Defense Geospatial Information Agency, as well as serving as a Technical Director in the GIS department of prominent private companies.
In 2022, Ionuț embarked on an entrepreneurial venture, spearheading the establishment of AGROGIS—an innovative precision agriculture concept in Romania. AGROGIS harnesses the power of GIS and Remote Sensing techniques to revolutionize the monitoring and management of agricultural farms. He holds a bachelor's degree in Geography and Cartography, as well as a master's degree in Geographical Information Systems, Remote Sensing, and Photogrammetry from the prestigious University of Bucharest. Ionuț has established himself as a remarkable presence in the field of GIS.
