Casper van der Tak, PhD - Casper has +20-years of experience in the carbon industry and is well known in carbon project circles, having developed GHG mitigation projects representing over 10 million tCO2e in emission reductions per year from about 69 CDM projects. In addition to project developments, Casper has been advising governments on climate change policies, tackling both climate change adaptation and mitigation, advising low carbon companies on financing opportunities and strategies, and preparing funding proposals for multilateral development banks. Casper secured over 300 million USD in funding from the Green Climate Fund for two large carbon projects that together will reduce more than 100 million tCO2 in emissions over their lifetime. Casper holds a degree in Chemistry, Doctorandus in Economics and PhD in Economics from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
