William Schuman - Will has vast experience with large-scale land management and carbon projects. He spent more than 15 years in Africa developing numerous high-capital projects that involved natural resources management, agriculture, forestry, carbon offsets, renewable energy and much more. More recently, will served as CEO from 2014-2019 for FIT Manejo in Brazil, a multi-national company with more than $450M in assets. As CEO, he managed over 200,000 hectares of land with operations in FSC plantation forestry, native forestry REDD, IFM programs and production land assets. He spearheaded the development of four 10 MW biomass plants for the state of Roraima. Will is also the co-owner of one of the largest vertically integrated industrial hemp operations in Alabama. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry and an MBA.
